Anti-Graffiti Laminate

Location

Linen Hall Library

Project Overview

Linen Hall Library, one of Belfast’s most iconic cultural spaces, wanted a visually stunning mural designed by local agency McCadden Belfast. However, the mural was in a high-traffic public space and needed to withstand potential graffiti while maintaining its vibrant design.

That’s where we came in, offering a solution that combined aesthetics with functionality.

Challenge

Public-facing installations like murals often face the challenge of graffiti, which can detract from the original design and cause maintenance headaches. Linen Hall Library needed a solution that protected the integrity of the artwork while ensuring long-term durability and ease of cleaning.

Our Solution

To address these challenges, we:

  • Installed Cbond Panels: These durable and lightweight panels provided a sturdy base for the mural, ensuring a flawless and professional finish.
  • Applied Anti-Graffiti Laminate: We coated the mural with a protective anti-graffiti laminate. This clear layer acts as a shield, allowing any graffiti or unwanted markings to be cleaned off easily without damaging the artwork.

The result? A stunning mural that not only enhances the space but remains vibrant and easy to maintain, even in a high-traffic area.

Linen Quarter Bid
Next Case Study

It was a pleasure to work alongside the wonderfully creative McCadden Design on the Linen Quarter bid. This was a big challenge, to communicate the potential behind the Linen Quarter after years of neglect. McCaddens main goal was to remind potential investors, business people and the general public that the Linen Quarter is worth their investment. It is reclaiming it’s spot on the Belfast map as somewhere for businesses to thrive, and for people to have fun.
