Location
Lisburn City Council required durable and informative outdoor lecterns to enhance the visitor experience at the Memorial Gardens, which pay tribute to the life and legacy of Harry Ferguson – the pioneering engineer and inventor of the modern agricultural tractor.
These new panels needed to be visually engaging and easy to read while being able to withstand the elements.
We provided a full production and installation service, using materials specifically chosen for long-term outdoor use:
✔️ Aluminium Powder-Coated Frames
Strong, rust-resistant, and perfect for outdoor installations, these frames provide stability and a sleek black finish that blends well with the surrounding environment.
✔️ Wrapped C-Bond Panels
The graphics were printed and applied to C-bond composite panels – a lightweight yet robust option that’s ideal for high-quality print application. This layer contains detailed visual and written information on Harry Ferguson’s history and inventions.
✔️ Lexan Acrylic Protective Layer
To ensure longevity, each panel was topped with a Lexan acrylic sheet, a highly durable and UV-resistant material that guards against scratching, weather damage, and vandalism, keeping the content vibrant and legible for years to come.
Outcome
The finished lecterns offer a seamless blend of storytelling and practicality. Visitors to the Harry Ferguson Memorial Gardens can now learn more about this key figure in agricultural history through beautifully presented and highly durable signage.
