At Alexander Boyd Displays, sustainability is more than a buzzword – it’s a commitment. Recently, one of our team members completed a Carbon Literacy course, equipping us with the knowledge and motivation to reduce our environmental impact as a business.

What is Carbon Literacy?

Carbon Literacy refers to an awareness of the carbon costs and impacts of everyday activities and the knowledge required to take meaningful actions to reduce emissions. It empowers individuals, organisations, and communities to make informed, sustainable choices in response to the challenges of climate change.

With this training, our team has gained valuable insights into how our decisions impact the environment and learned strategies to minimise our carbon footprint, both as individuals and as a company.

Investing in Sustainable Technology

We are excited for the addition of a new water-based printer (MS-JP4 EVO) to our lineup of environmentally friendly technologies in February that will be able to print for outdoor work. Water-based printing offers a more sustainable solution compared to solvent-based alternatives, reducing emissions and environmental impact while delivering exceptional quality.

This investment builds on our existing commitment to sustainability, complementing our existing water-based printers that produce print on vinyl and fabric. It allows us to continue providing high-quality prints while aligning with our mission to make eco-conscious choices in every aspect of our business.
