The Challenge

West Fraser required a safer, faster  way to change multiple large-format banners across their site in Scotland. Each banner measured an imposing 6m x 3m, and the existing process relied on scissor lifts, extended labour time, and working at height – introducing ongoing health & safety risks and operational inefficiencies.

Changing just one banner could take up to three hours, tying up staff, equipment, and creating unnecessary exposure to risk.

See below for how it was being done before – banners were fixed into the cladding with screws, requiring repeated drilling and causing long-term damage to the building.

The Solution

We installed our Bannerlift system, a purpose-built solution that allows large banners to be raised and lowered safely from ground level.

By rethinking the traditional approach and applying a proven mechanical system, we transformed what was once a complex, high-risk task into a simple, repeatable operation.

The Bannerlift system now enables West Fraser’s team to change banners in approximately 20 minutes, without the need for access equipment or working at height.
